The celebration of one hundredth anniversary of Polifarma opens with a tribute to art, a passion rooted in the DNA of the company.
Leonardo da Vinci, on the five hundredth anniversary of his death, will open the celebrations with the exhibition ‘Leonardo. The Machine of Imagination.’
The event is part of the official celebrations – Milano Leonardo 500 – of the city of Meneghina on the 500th anniversary of the genius’s death and is sponsored by the National Committee for the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death.
The exhibition involves the attendees in a story telling of images and sounds, through a path marked by seven video installations and large scenic machines inspired by Leonardo’s drawings; it intends to be an immersive experience in the world of Leonardo’s imagination for the visitor.
The machines are transformed into narrative devices, and interact with the visitor through light and sound effects. It is also possible to pronounce some keywords -taken from the Vinci lexicon- and activate video animations.
The exhibition Leonardo. The Machine of Imagination, takes place at the Palazzo Reale in Milan from 19 April to 14 July 2019 – held by Treccani and Studio Azzurro, is promoted and produced by the City of Milan – Cultura, Palazzo Reale, and the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, with the support of Arthemisia and the scientific advice of Edoardo Villata.
The exhibition is sponsored by: Polifarma, Leonardo, F.C. Internazionale Milano, and Fondazione Cariplo. Polifarma.
